6.2 Squelch level Setup
This function is used to set the RX signal strength, the incoming
signal will only be audible when the set signal level is reached,
otherwise the radio will remain silent.
6.3 Channel Scan
Whilst i
n channel mode, this function is used to monitor
the
signal
in all
the
channels
that was added to the Scanlist
.
1. In channel mode, Press
the
[Scan] key start channel scan
ning
.
2. Short press [ ]/[ ] on
the
front panel or [UP]/[DN] key

on
microphone to change scan
ning
direction.
3. Press
any
key except the volume knob to exit scan
ning
.

6.4 Add or Delete a Scan Channel
Whilst i
n channel mode, hold
and press the [Scan]
key to add or
delete
the current
channel
to the Scanlist
.
1.
A Decimal point is visible between the "CH" and the channel
number, which indicates that the relevant channel is part of the
Scanlist.
2.
In standby, hold the [MON] key, then press [UP]/[DN] or turn the
VOL knob, the LCD displays current squelch level.
Press UP/DN or turn the VOL knob to choose the required squelch
level.
Press any key to confirm and exit.
