Using the High-Speed Counter and Programmable Limit Switch

• . PLC enters an executing mode

HighPresetInterrupt

The HighPresetInterrupt status bit is set when the HSC accumulator reaches
the high preset value and the HSC interrupt has been triggered.

This bit can be used in the control program to identify that the low preset
condition caused the HSC interrupt and this flag would be applied by the
control program.

This bit can be cleared by the control program and is also be cleared by the
HSC whenever these conditions are detected:

• High Preset Interrupt executes

• Underflow Interrupt executes

• Overflow Interrupt executes

• PLC enters an executing mode

LowPresetReached

The LowPresetReached flag is set when the HSC accumulator value is less
than or equal to the low preset.

This flag is updated automatically when the

PLC enters an executing mode

.
