Disposal
7.1
Environmental protection
When the appliance, especially the
batteries, have reached the end of
their service life or when dysfunc-
tions recur, disable the appliance by
removing the batteries.
The filters are made from environmentally
compatible materials and can be disposed of
with the domestic waste.
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Never use or charge a
defective appliance! Always switch off the
appliance and disconnect it from the mains
before starting troubleshooting .
Problem
Possible cause / solution
The
charging
indicator
light is
not lit
during
charging
The mains adapter is not plugged
in. Check if the plug and the
mains adapter are fitted correctly
in their sockets (
Z

"Charging the batteries"
).
The appliance is switched on.
Switch off the appliance
(
Z
Chapter 4.2, "Dry vacuum
cleaning"
).
The batteries are fully charged.
Take the appliance out of the
charging station. Your hand-held
vacuum cleaner is now ready for
use.

The ap-
pliance
will not
start or
sudden-
ly stops
running
The batteries are empty. Charge
the batteries (

).
The overheating protection has
tripped (e.g. due to blocked suc-
tion channels, or similar).
1.
Switch off the appliance.
2.
Remove the cause of the over-
heating.
3.
Wait for about 45 minutes. Af-
ter the appliance has cooled
off, you may switch it on again.
The ap-
pliance
does not
pick up
dust
The dust container is full. Empty
the dust container (

"Emptying the dust container"
).
The filters are dirty.
Clean the filters (

).
