Charging the batteries
The rechargeable batteries must be charged
before working with the appliance. To do this:
1.
Make sure that that appliance is switched
off.
2.
Connect the mains adapter to a socket
that carries the same voltage as that indi-
cated on the mains adapter's type plate
(Fig. 4/A).
3.
Put the hand-held vacuum cleaner into the
now connected charging station (Fig. 4/
B). The charging indicator light goes on
(Fig. 5/A).
4.
Now charge the batteries for approx.
16 hours, until the charging indicator light
goes out (Fig. 5/B).
5.
When the charging indicator light has
gone out, take the appliance out of the
charging station.
Your hand-held vacuum cleaner is now ready
for use.
WARNING:
Danger of injury due to incorrect charging!
Use only the supplied charging station and

ATTENTION:
Take care to fully charge and then fully dis-
charge the batteries. Avoid charging for
more than 16 hours. This would reduce the
batteries' service life.
NOTE:
The appliance cannot be charged when
switched on.
NOTE:
Alternatively, you can connect the mains
adapter directly to the socket on the bottom
of the appliance (Fig. 4/C) to charge the
battery.
NOTE:
The charging indicator light remains lit until
the batteries are fully charged. It will take
14-18 hours to charge for the first time.
Subsequent charging cycles will take
approx. 14 hours.
