SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General safety information for the use of electrical devices

To  avoid  injury  from  fire  or  electric  shock,  please  ensure 

the compliance with the safety instructions when using this 

device. Please read the instructions carefully and make sure 

that you have understood them well. Keep the manual near 

the equipment to be able to read it at any time. Always use 

current sources which are connected to the ground and 

which provide the necessary voltage (this info is indicated 

on the label on the device). If you have any doubts, let an 

electrician check that your outlet is properly grounded. 

Never use a damaged power cable. Do not open the unit 

in damp or wet environment, or if your hands or body are 

damped or wet. Protect the unit from solar radiation. Use 

the device in a protected location to avoid damaging the 

equipment or endangering others. Make sure the device is 

able to cool and avoid placing it too close to other devices 

that produce heat. Before cleaning the device, disconnect it 

from the power source. Use a soft damp cloth for cleaning. 

Avoid using detergents and make sure that no liquid enters 

the unit. No internal element of this device needs to be 

maintained by the user. Opening the device without our 

approval leads to a loss of warranty!

type and current comply with the indicated data on 

the type plate.

This device is not intended to be used by persons 

(including children) with limited physical, sensory or 

mental aptitude, as well as lack of experience and/or 

knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person 

responsible for their safety or if they have received 

instructions as to how the device is used.

ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD! Do not attempt to repair 

the unit yourself. In case of device failures, repairs 

must be done by qualified experts.

The operation manual must be reviewed.
Never dispose of electrical equipment together 

with household waste.

Please check the main plug and the power cable 

regularly. If the power cable for this device is 

damaged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer 

or its customer service or another qualified person in 

order to prevent hazards.

Prevent damages to the power cable by avoiding 

squeezing or bending it or rubbing it on sharp 

edges. Also keep the power cable away from hot 

surfaces and open flames.

10.  ATTENTION! DANGER TO LIFE! While cleaning, never 

immerse the device in water or other liquids. 

11.  Under no circumstances should the housing be 

opened.

12.  When using the device, never touch the heating 

plate or its enclosure, as they constitute a scalding 

hazard.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The  vertical  grill  is  designed  for  grilling  meat,  fish  and 

vegetables.

The user is liable for any damage resulting from 

nonintended use of the device.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Upon receipt of the goods, check the packaging for integrity 

and open it. If the packaging is damaged, please contact 

your transport company and distributor within 3 days, and 

document the damages as detailed as possible. Do not turn 

the package upside down! When transporting the package, 

please ensure that it is kept horizontal and stable.

DISPOSAL OF THE PACKAGING

Please keep all packaging materials (cardboard, plastic tapes 

and Styrofoam), so that in case of a problem, the device can 

be sent back to the service centre in accurate condition!

INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE

APPLIANCE LOCATION

The temperature of the environment must not exceed 45°C 

and the relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Ensure 

good ventilation in the room in which the device is used. The 

distance between the back of the chain toaster and the wall 

should be at least 20 cm, a minimum distance between the 

sides of the device and the walls should be at least 10 cm on 

each side and 35 cm between the top of the device and the 

ceiling. Keep the device away from hot surfaces. Operate the 

device on flat, stable, clean, refractory and dry surfaces out 

of the reach of children and people with mental disabilities. 

Install the device making sure that constant access to the 

main plug is ensured. The power cord connected to the 

appliance must be properly grounded and correspond to 

the technical details. Before the first use, remove all elements 

and clean them along with the entire device!

on/off switch (HALF POWER; FULL POWER)

Set the required power using the switch, the in-use light 

will come on and the skewer will begin rotating. Use timer 

to set the required time – this will activate the heating 

elements. Once the time on the timer has elapsed, the 

heating elements will automatically switch off. The skewer 

will continue rotating until it is switched off using the on/

off switch.

ATTENTION! Do not place items on top of the device!

ATTENTION! When in use, some device elements heat up to 

very high temperatures – there is a risk of burning! Do not 

touch these elements with bare hands! Use tongs or other 

kitchen utensils to remove ready food.

ATTENTION!  Before  first  use,  turn  the  device  on  to  HALF 

POWER and set the timer to twenty minutes (without 

loading food). Some smoke may be emitted by the device 

– this is normal. 

ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE’S ELEMENTS

Spit prongs installation

Prongs may be attached to the spit. Ensure the fastening 

screw is tight. Load meat, vegetables etc. onto the spit then 

attach the other prongs (slide them flush with the loaded 

food) then use screw to fasten prongs securely in place. Then 

insert the spit into the grill: first insert its lower part into the 

opening at the bottom of the grill and then slide the upper 

section onto the top grill attachment. To take the spit out, 

first remove the top section from the grill and then take it 

out of the device. Loosen the screw on one of the prongs 

then slide the food off the spit.

Mounting grill skewers: 

Attach a round end piece to the spit and secure with a screw, 

attach a second round end piece on the other end of the 

spit and also screw tight. Attach skewers loaded with food 

using the eye to the top end piece and insert skewer point 

into the bottom end piece. Insert the spit with end pieces 

into the device. 

Assembling grilling plates:

Slide plates onto the spit and attach to the spit using screws 

at the required heights. Place fish or other foodstuffs onto 

the plates and insert into the device. 

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

During transport, the machine should be protected from 

shaking, crashing and turning upside down. Store it in 

a properly ventilated place with dry air and without any 

corrosive gas.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• 

Always unplug the device before cleaning the 

equipment. Disconnect the device from the electricity 

when it is not in use. Let the device cool down before 

cleaning it.

• 

Use only cleaner without corrosive substances to 

clean the surface.

• 

Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture 

and direct exposure to sunlight.

• 

Never clean the device with a pressurized water-jet.

• 

Use warm water and mild detergent to wash the door 

and glass part of the housing.

• 

Use warm water with mild detergent and a soft cloth 

to wash the metal housing and the interior of the 

device. After washing wipe dry.

• 

Elements such as: spits, skewers, prongs, plates, drip 

trays etc. are dishwasher safe, or use warm water with 

a mild detergent (make sure screws are removed from 

particular elements.
