Cleaning and maintenance by users
5.1 Safety measures

Only begin the maintenance or repair work once the appliance has
completely cooled down.
P
Remove the gas cartridge before starting maintenance work.
5.2 Cleaning
The gas radiant heater should be covered with a plastic sheet after each use to
prevent contamination by impurities.
Always wait for the gas radiant heater to cool down completely before
covering it.
If the gas radiant heater has nevertheless become dirty, observe the following
notes during cleaning:

Always clean the appliance while cool.

Only clean the appliance using a dry, soft cloth or low compressed air.
P
Never use strong and/or abrasive cleaning agents.
P
Always remove the gas cartridge when cleaning.
5.3 Maintenance
Note that only original parts may be used for repair and maintenance
work. Contact the ROWI Service Center if need be (see Chapter 6).
Regularly, and above all after prolonged periods without heating, check all gas-
carrying components with soapy water or leak spray as part of a leak test.
