2.4 Product safety
In order to avoid potential hazards as extensively as possible in advance, the
following safety installations have been installed by the manufacturer:

Tilt responsive shut-off valve

Thermal element
A thermal element prevents unwanted escape by unsecured gas. The gas duct
remains open as long as the gas flame heats the thermal element. The gas flow
is interrupted as soon as the gas flame goes out.

Thermal circuit breaker
The thermal circuit breaker prevents the appliance from overheating.
After reaching the maximum permissible temperature, the gas flow rate is
automatically interrupted.

Oxygen deficiency safety valve
An oxygen deficiency safety valve interrupts the gas supply as soon as the CO2
level exceeds the predefined standard limit of 1.5 %.

This mobile gas radiant heater may only be operated with butane valve
cartridges (as listed above). When using the predefined gas type, the maximum
gas consumption is 145 g/h.
