An integrated thermostat switches the appliance off if the room temperature
is 3°C above the desired temperature. If the room temperature drops 1°C
below the desired temperature the appliance will automatically switch on
again. In this way, a more or less constant temperature is ensured in the
room.
Oscillation function
1. Press the Oscillation switch (see Fig. 3a/b No. 6) to activate the function. The
tower heater now moves from side to side at an angle of 90°.
2. To deactivate the Oscillation function, press the Oscillation switch again (see
Fig. 3a/b No. 6).
3.3 Setting the timer function
1. Press "SET TIME" or "TIMER" (see Fig. 3a/b, No. 2) to select the desired heat-
ing time. The Timer function provides you with the option of selecting between
a heating time of 0 to 8 hours. The heater then switches off automatically
3.4 Switching off the appliance
1. Before switching off the heater, switch to the blower level via "MODE" or
"HEAT MODE" and wait 3 minutes so that the heating elements can cool down.
2. Press the "POWER" button (see Fig. 3a/b, No. 5). The pilot lamp (see Fig. 2,
No. 2) goes out.
3. Press the ON/OFF switch (see Fig. 2, No. 7) to switch off the appliance.
4. Pull the power plug out of the socket.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down before covering it or putting it
away.
3.5 Storage
Protect the appliance against dust, dirt and insects. Cover the appliance with the
foil provided so that it is protected from impurities and damage or malfunctions
caused this.
