Set-up and installation
7. Place the cap with regulating knob on the electric immersion
heater. Make sure the regulating knob is located correctly.
8. Screw in the screws for the electric immersion heater cap
(
see chapter 8.3).
9. Restore power supply to the junction box of the domestic
electrical installation.
BO3s
Connection of the electric immersion heater (booster heater) is
only possible in combination with a ROTEX heat pump. The
installation is to be carried out in accordance with the associated
installation and operating instructions of the ROTEX heat pump
and the individual storage tank connection kit (E-PAC).
4.2.6 Filling the hot water heat exchanger
1. Open the shutoff valve for the cold water supply pipe.
2. Open the hot water tap connections so that the draw-off
volume can be set as high as possible.
3. Once water has been discharged from the tap connections,
do not interrupt the cold water flow; this will ensure that the
heat exchanger will be fully vented and that any impurities or
residue will be discharged.
4.2.7 Filling the storage tank
Without installed solar system
1. Connect the filling hose.
a)
All
SCS hot water storage tank:
Connect the filling hose with return flow preventer (1/2") to
the connection "Drain-Back Solar - Flow" (see fig. 4-4 to
fig. 4-7, item 11).
b)
All
+SC hot water storage tanks:
Connect the optional connection elbow AW BAS
(
16 52 10
) to the filling and drain connection
(see fig. 4-4 to fig. 4-7, item 15) and connect the filling
hose there using the return flow prevention (1/2").
2. Fill the storage tank on the ROTEX Sanicube / HybridCube
until water comes out of the safety overflow connection
(see fig. 4-4 to fig. 4-7, item 14).
With installed solar system
1. Mount the KFE cock (customer provision) to the optional
threaded connector (1" female, 1¼" male) of the solar
regulation and pump unit (RPS3).
2. Connect the filling hose with backflow preventer (1/2") to the
previously installed KFE cock.
3. Fill the storage tank on the ROTEX Sanicube / HybridCube
until water comes out of the safety overflow connection (see
fig. 4-4 to fig. 4-7, item 14).
4.2.8 Filling solar panel circuit
Ɣ
Fill the solar panel circuit and de-aerate in accordance with
the regulation and pump unit instructions.
4.2.9 Filling the heating system and the storage tank
charging circuit
Ɣ
Fill the heating system and storage tank charging circuit in
accordance with the installation instructions of the individual
heat generator (max. 3 bar) and de-aerate.
Ɣ
After de-aeration, check the installation pressure again and
adjust if necessary (max. 3 bar).
