Special Conditions for Safe Use (X):
1. The 4088 MV Transmitters fitted with transient protection are not capable of
withstanding the 500V test as defined in Clause 6.3.13 of EN 60079-11:2012. This must
be taken into account during installation.
2. The Model 4088 MV enclosure may be made of aluminum alloy and given a protective
polyurethane paint finish; however, care should be taken to protect it from impact or
abrasion if located in a Zone 0 area.

apparatus and capable of withstanding a 7J impact test.
