Setting up CON Devices through the Java Tool

Select between the following buttons:

To create a new console, proceed as follows:
1. Press the
New
button.
2. Select if a real console (
Create a real Console
) or a virtual console (
Create a virtual Console
) is
to be created, or if a template of an existing console should be used (
Choose template
).
Note
: A template can only be used, if there is at least one existing CON device.
3. Press the
OK
button.
4. Determine all parameters that are relevant for the console.
5. To confirm the new console, press the
Apply
button.
