Step 6:Connecting Accura 2300S Devices for External Communication

Ethernet Communication

Accura 2300S supports Ethernet communication for high-speed transmission of a large amount of

measurement data received from multiple Accura 2350 modules. Accura 2300S is equipped with an

Ethernet switch that allows two Ethernet ports to be daisy-chained to multiple Accura 2300S meters

without the need for a separate external switch. Up to 20 Accura 2300S meters can be connected in a

daisy-chain, star, and ring topology. Modbus TCP, the standard protocol is supported for transmission of

measurement data.

Since Accura 2300S supports RSTP(Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), devices can be connected in a ring

topology. Thus, even if one end of the line is disconnected in a ring topology, communication can be

resumed in the other end of the line within a short period of time, minimizing data loss.

Note

When wiring modules in a ring topology, use the Ethernet cable supporting RSTP and activate the

RSTP function to quickly resume communication.
