– Plug the power base (8) into the mains - you will hear a
sound, the buttons (10, 11, and 12) and the symbols on
the display (9) will start flickering.
– Install the kettle onto the base (8) - the buttons (10, 11,
and 12) will stop flickering and switch off, and the display
(9) will be lit continuously.
– To switch the kettle on, press the button (10) - you will hear
a sound, the display (9) and the buttons (10, 11, and 12)
backlight will switch on, and «100°С» will be shown on the
display (fig. 5).
– After switching the kettle on, press the button (10) again -
you will hear a sound, the display (9) will show the
icon, the buttons (10, 11, and 12) backlight will switch
on, and the kettle will switch into the water boiling mode.
– When the water has been boiled you will hear a sound, the
kettle and the buttons (10, 11, and 12) backlight will switch
off, and the
icon will disappear from the display.
– To switch the kettle off press and hold the button (10), you
will hear a sound signal and the kettle will be switched off,
the buttons illumination will go out.
Temperature Preservation Function
1. Select the temperature/tea-making mode: use the button
adjuster (10) to select the necessary temperature/mode.
Tea-making modes to select from: black / oolong /
white / green / soft / coffee / heating / formula (fig. 9)
2. Press the button (11) to select the heat preservation
mode. (fig. 11)
The button (11) backlight will switch on, the display (9) will
show the
icon and the duration (2 hours) of the heat
preservation (fig. 11, 12)
3. The heat preservation mode sequence will be completed
automatically in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can disable the
heat preservation function, by pressing the (11) button.
When the temperature preservation mode sequence will
be either canceled or completed, you will hear a sound
and the button (11) backlight will switch on.
Temperature setting
1. Press the button (12) to activate the kettle temperature
setup. (The actual temperature value will be flickering on
the display (9)) (fig. 13).
2. Use the adjuster (10) to set the necessary temperature.
(The usable temperature range is 40-100 ° С) (fig. 14).
3. Press the button (10) to start heating the water (fig. 15).
Internal memory function
The kettle has an internal memory allowing you to keep the
kettle off the base for up to 1 minute without switching into
the memory mode. Once placed back onto the base, the
kettle will initiate the heating and/or warmth preservation
sequences as they were left.
Sleep mode
If the kettle has not been used for over 10 minutes it will revert
back into the sleep mode. The heating and the display will
be switched off, with your last selection saved in the kettle
memory.
Silent mode
1. To enter the silent mode, press and hold the button (12)
for 3 seconds (fig. 16). While in the mute mode, all the
sound signals and notifications are disabled.
2. While in the silent mode, press and hold the button (12) for
3 seconds to cancel the mute mode.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
– Before cleaning disconnect the unit from the mains, pour
out water and let the kettle cool down.
– Clean the outer surface of the kettle (1) and the base (8)
with a damp cloth or a sponge and then wipe it dry. Use
soft detergents to remove dirt; do not use metal brushes
and abrasive detergents.
– Keep the mesh filter (3) clean and clean it from time to
time. Carefully clean the filter (3). You can use a small
brush for that.
– Do not immerse the kettle and the base into water or any
other liquids.
– Do not wash the kettle and the base in a dishwashing
machine.
Descaling
– Scale, appearing inside the kettle, influences the water
taste and disturbs the heat exchange between water and
the heating element.
– To remove scale, fill the kettle with water by about 75% and
then boil the water up. Fill the remaining quarter of the flask
with vinegar solution (6-9%) and leave the liquid in the ket-
tle overnight (for approximately 8 hours). In the morning
pour the vinegar mixture out of the kettle and rinse the flask
several times. To remove the remaining vinegar and its
smell, boil the kettle filled with ordinary water once or twice.
– If necessary, repeat the cleaning cycle.
– You can use special detergents for electric kettles to
remove scale.
– Clean the kettle from scale regularly.
Attention! The warranty does not cover breakdown or mal-
functioning of the unit caused by uncleaned scale.
