Packing material
Do not simply throw the packing material away but recycle it.
Deliver paper, cardboard and corrugated cardboard packing to collecting facilities.
Also put plastic packing material and foils into the intended collecting basins.
In the examples for the plastic marking: PE stands for
polyethylene, the code fi gure 02 for PE-HD, 04 for
PE-LD, PP for polypropylene, PS for polystyrene, CPE
for chlorinated polyethylene.
Disposal/recycling information
According to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive, do not dispose this
product with your normal domestic waste at the end of its life span. Therefore, please deliver
it at no charge to your appropriately licensed local collecting facilities (e.g. recycling yard)
concerned with the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Please approach your
local authorities for how to dispose of the product.
Features
Touch Control sensors
The appliance is equipped with Touch Control sensors, which are easy and comfortable in use. Activate the
particular function by tapping the touch key. Tapping the touch key ON/STANDBY or START/CANCEL is
always confi rmed by an acoustic signal tone
NOTE: Always keep the control panel clean and dry. Do not touch it with wet fi ngers and do not use it as
a shelf of deposit as this might lead to malfunctions.
Multi-stage boiling and cooking process (Rice programmes)
The appliance controls the boiling and cooking process automatically. As soon as the optimum
temperature is reached, the energy supply is automatically adjusted – you do not have to regulate it
manually as you would have to when cooking with a cooking pot on a standard cooking plate.
Steam regulator
The appliance is equipped with a removable steam regulator on the upper surface of the casing. This
steam regulator prevents from overpressure being generated during boiling and cooking processes inside
of the appliance.
ATTENTION: Please note that some hot steam may escape during boiling and cooking process.
Keep warm function
After the end of the selected programme, the appliance automatically switches to the keep warm function
for 60 minutes. A fl ashing time display indicates that the keep warm mode is active.
Non-stick coating of the cooking pot
The inner as well as the outer surface of the removable cooking pot is equipped with a high quality
non-stick coating. This is particularly easy to clean and prevents food from sticking to the surface. Cleaning
the cooking pot in a dishwasher is
not recommended.
CAUTION: Never use cooking utensils made of metal as this will damage the non-stick coating. Do
not scratch or cut on the surface of the cooking pot. A scratched protective coating is not covered by
the warranty.
