WARNING: Hazard of injury!
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning!
• Never immerse the appliance, power cord and mains plug in
water or clean them under running water!
NOTE:
For ensuring a constant grinding quality, we recommend cleaning the coffee mill weekly.
• Clean the base unit of the appliance with a damp tissue and wipe it dry.
• Clean beans container and powder container and its cover as well as the scale disk in hot water with
some dishwashing detergent. Before the next use, all accessory parts must be completely dry.
• Clean the grinder by means of the enclosed
cleaning brush. For easy cleaning, the upper
grinding block can be detached.
(See page 28 “Mounting / dismounting the
chamber of the grinder”).
• Clean the powder outlet regularly. Remove
sticking powder carefully with a pointed object
(e.g. toothpick). Afterwards clean thoroughly
with the enclosed cleaning brush.
NOTE:
The finer the grinding degree and the more oil-bearing the coffee/espresso powder, the more
often the powder outlet should be cleaned.
TIP:
You can also blow and clean the conical burr grinder with a commercial compressed air spray.
• Do not use any abrasives or solvents!
• Never use a steam jet appliance for cleaning!
