Prepare the Quadrocopter
Notes
– Instead of LR6 (AA) batteries, rechargeable batteries of the same speci-
fication with 2000 mAh or higher can also be used. NiMh rechargeable
batteries with low self-discharge are recommended (not included).
– Check your batteries regularly. Old or discharged batteries must be
replaced.
– If you do not intend to use the remote control for a longer period of
time, remove the batteries to avoid leakage.
Mounting and dismounting the smartphone holder
With the help of the app provided (page 81 et seq.), you can control the
quadrocopter simultaneously with the remote control [2] and follow the
live image from the camera.
To do this, it is best to use the smartphone holder [9] supplied. To attach it
to the remote control, first pull the cover cap [10] on the top of the remote
control upwards. After the cover cap has been pulled off, you will find an
opening on the top of the remote control.
Now insert the bottom of the smartphone holder [9] into the opening on
the top of the remote control. Make sure that the smartphone holder is
facing forward (see the illustration below).
