Safety Instructions
Danger due to electric current!
Faulty electrical installations or excessive mains voltage can cause
electric shock.
– Only connect the product if the mains voltage of the socket
corresponds to the information on the rating plate.
– Connect the product to an easily accessible socket so that you
can disconnect it from the mains quickly in case of problems.
– Only use the mains adapter and cable supplied..
– Do not use the product if it is visibly damaged or if the cable is
defective.
– If the product or accessories are damaged, they must be repla-
ced or repaired by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
– The housing must not be opened and repairs must only be
carried out by a specialist. Contact a specialist workshop for this
purpose. In the event of repairs by the user, improper connec-
tion or incorrect operation, any liability and all warranty claims
are excluded.
– Do not use the product with an external timer.
– If you do not use the product for a longer period of time,
always disconnect it from the power source.
– Protect the product from moisture. Do not touch it with wet/
damp hands and do not immerse it in water.
– This product is not waterproof! Do not use this product in the
rain or in wet environments. Never touch the product during a
thunderstorm.
– Before disconnecting the power or battery, switch off the pro-
duct at the main switch.
– Ensure adequate ventilation during operation. Never cover the
unit.
– Only use the unit with suitable, high-quality NP-F750/970 lithi-
um-ion batteries.
– Do not use or store the unit in high temperatures or in closed
rooms with direct sunlight. The product should not be used at
ambient temperatures of more than 40° C.
– Immediately remove the battery and, if necessary, the charging
cable from the case in the event of unusual noises or smells or
smoke.
Caution!
– NNever use the power supply or cable as a carrying handle.
Keep the product and accessories away from open flames, hot
surfaces and easily flammable materials.
– Lay the power supply unit and cable so that it does not pose a
tripping hazard.
– Do not bend the mains cable or lay it over sharp edges.
Caution!
Danger for children and persons with limited physical, sensory
or mental abilities (e.g. partially disabled persons, older persons
with limited physical and mental abilities) or lack of experience
and know-how (e.g. older children).
– This product can be used by persons with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and know-how
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the product in a safe way and understand the poten-
tial hazards arising from its use. Children must not play with
the product. The product must not be cleaned or cared for by
children. Keep children under the age of eight away from the
product and accessories.
– Do not insert objects into the product.
– Do not leave the product unattended during operation and
charging.
– The appliance is not a toy. Keep the product, accessories and
packaging materials away from children and animals to prevent
accidents and suffocation.
– Do not film car, bus, bicycle, motorbike drivers or train drivers
while driving with this product. The driver may be blinded and
cause an accident. This also applies to persons or groups not
listed if an accident could be caused by possible glare.
– Do not shine directly into the eyes of people or animals as this
can cause retinal damage, impaired vision and even blindness.
Note: Only for lighting for photographic purposes. Not suitable
for permanent room lighting.
Disposal
Disposing of packaging: Dispose of the packaging accor-
ding to type. Put cardboard and carton in the waste paper
collection, plastic film in the recyclables collection.
Disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment and/
or batteries/accumulators by consumers in private hou-
seholds within the European Union. This symbol on the
product or on the packaging indicates that it must not be
disposed of with household waste. You must hand over your old
appliance and/or batteries/accumulators to appropriate collection
points for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances and/
or batteries/accumulators. For more information on recycling this
appliance and/or batteries/accumulators, please contact your local
council, the shop where you purchased the appliance or your waste
disposal company. Recycling materials helps conserve natural re-
sources and ensures a method of recycling that is safe for human
health and the environment.
