After Configuration
1. Once configuration is complete, the Host (owner) will need to install the chosen
provider’s application to their smartphone.
2. Engage with the customer to install the appropriate application to their
smartphone (or similar device) from either the App Store for Apple devices or from
Google Play for Android devices.

The VendElectric application is also accessible on almost any device with a
web browser.

3. Discuss an appropriate maintenance plan with the chargepoint owner/operator
based on their anticipated usage, the guidance given in the maintenance section
of this manual, and any regulatory requirements in the geographical region of use.
NOTE: If the end user will not be using the VendElectric application they will need to use
an alternative service provider and the chargepoint will need to be configured as
appropriate to work with that provider’s application.

1. Make sure the…
x ChargePoint is secured to the mounting location.
x ChargePoint enclosure is free of debris.
x
Cables entering the chargepoint are secure.
2. Make sure the electrical installation is complete:
x Incoming cables are connected to the relevant devices within the enclosure.
x
All electrical connection points are secure.
x
All required tests have been performed – in accordance with the current
legislation applicable in the geographical region of the installation.
x
Make sure the chargepoint has been installed in compliance with the current
Electrical Wiring Regulations (including recommended earthing
arrangements).
CAUTION: Equipment Damage
Do NOT use power tools to remove/install fixings.
Power tools can damage the fixings, making them difficult to remove.
Use hand tools ONLY and do not overtighten fasteners.
3. Fit the front section of the enclosure taking care not to trap any electrical cables.
Secure the fascia with the fixings removed earlier in the procedure.
4. If required, remove any handling marks from the enclosure with a soft, damp
cloth.
5. Make sure the service providers label is neatly applied, close to the appropriate
socket or tethered cable.
6. If this installation is for a tethered chargepoint, install the charging plug holster(s).
