Prepare the Media
- Type of Media
- Usable Media

!! IMPORTANT !!

Leave the main power on at all times. Maintenance operation is automatically carried out every 8 hours
while the machine is not in use. Use the sub power switch for the daily power-on/off.

Protection against the light* during the Service Activity

!! IMPORTANT !!
Be sure to use the UV-proof sheet when the
ink line is exposed to the light during the
replacement, or ink will harden and clog in the
ink line. And it results in a serious in uence to
a machine.
* The light means the light which includes the
ultraviolet light. The light of uorescent has
the ultraviolet light. Therefore, consider that
most of the light includes the ultraviolet light.

!! IMPORTANT !!

Be sure to detach the media clamps. Performing cut off with the media clamps remaining attached may
cause the operation to be interrupted due to detection of the media clamps.

- Loading Sheet Media

Basic Operation

!! IMPORTANT !!

Make sure that the pinch rollers are positioned correctly on top of the media. If not, the edge of the media
may sag, which may affect the ability for the media to pass through the machine.
