2.Regular Maintenance
Point
• As a guideline, apply 2 drops of cleaning liquid to a single cleaning pad. Apply 1 drop of cleaning
liquid in each location, using the holes in the sheet retaining cover (8 holes in the front and 8 holes
in the back for a total of 16 holes) as guidelines for the positions where to apply the liquid.

Soak the cleaning liquid into the entirety of the head cleaning sheet covering the wiping part. Rub
-
bing the print heads with a dry sheet may lead to malfunctions.
IMPORTANT
Do not leave the bottle of cleaning liquid for head refreshing on the flat table.
Leaving the cleaning liquid bottle on the flat table and proceeding to the next operation will lead to
an error caused by the bottle hitting the head gap sensor.

START REFRESH
The head refresh starts

If the possibility of the print heads hitting the head refresher (or some other obstacle) is detect

ed, head refreshing is canceled and the following message is displayed.
CHECK HEIGHT OF
HEAD REFRESHER
Press [ENTER] to clear the message and return to the start screen of the head refreshing menu.
If the jig is in the way or has not been attached correctly, the head refresher position may be
too high. Correctly reattach the head refresher by removing the jig or reviewing how the jig is
attached. Then, perform head refreshing again.
