The previously set values are displayed for "WIDTH" and "LENGTH."
• When the object to be printed on comes into contact with the head gap sensor, the screen shown
below appears and the setup is canceled. Redo the procedure from
"4. The height of the object to be printed
on is detected automatically." (P. 21)

Press [ ], [ ], [ ], or [
] to set the "WIDTH" to 90 mm (3.5 in.) or more and the
"LENGTH" to 70 mm (2.8 in.) or more.
The pointer moves until it points to a position in the inner left of the print area.
E
Close the front cover when it is open.
F
Press [ENTER].
The print area is specified. Print heads return to the standby position.
G
Make sure the "W" (width), "L" (length), and "H" (height) values on the menu screen
are as intended.

MEMO
If you want to use the print area specified here for the next printing operation, switch "SET AT
SETUP"
to "DISABLE."
With this setting, you can set up the object to be printed on without setting the print area and
base position.
