If the S21 values displayed on the R&S ZVA's screen are not within the range shown in the table below,
the harmonic filter must be replaced.

Testing the Harmonic Filter (R&S ZVAX-B252)

Disconnect the RF cables W211 and W230 from the harmonic filter.

Set the R&S ZVA to sweep mode 10 MHz to 24 GHz.

Connect two test cables to port 1 and port 2 of the R&S ZVA and perform a full 2-port calibration at
the end of the cables.

Connect the test cable from port 1 to the input X1 and the test cable from port 2 to the output X2.

Testing the insertion loss (filter off):

Set the R&S ZVA to Meas S21.

Read transmission S21.

If the S21 values displayed on the R&S ZVA's screen are not within the range 0 dB to -1.5 dB, the
transfer switch must be replaced.
