Signal Integrity of the Transferred Signal

The following sections describe the effect that bandwidth and connection induc-
tance have on signal integrity.

4.1.1

Bandwidth

The bandwidth BW of a probe is one of its specific parameters. The bandwidth of
the probe and the bandwidth of the base unit together form the system bandwidth.
The following explanations refer to the probe itself, but can also be applied to the
entire system.
