Recovery of the System Disk

3. Slide the top cover towards the rear end of the system.

Once the cover is slid backward, it can be taken off the system
4. Lift the cover upwards to remove.
5. To close the casing, simply put the cover back on and slide it into place
until it locks.
Recovery of the System Disk
The R&S system provides a backup SSD drive (see "Overview of the Rear"
on page 21) that can be used to restore the operating system on the system
disk back to its manufacturing state. Once selected as a boot device, it will
launch a Live Linux which in turn will restore the system disk.
Total Loss of Data
Selecting the wrong device can lead to a total loss of data.
Do not execute any commands if you are not sure about
the correct target device.
