Create a Project

Begin a New Project

To begin a new Studio 5000® project, use the following procedure.

1. Double-click the Studio 5000 icon.

2. Click New Project.

3. In the New Project dialog box, select the controller for your project, 

name the project, and click Next.
In this example, the project is named 1769 L24ER CompactLogix 5370 

controller.

IMPORTANT

If there is an existing project within Studio 5000 with CompactLogix™ or 

ControlLogix® hardware that is installed and communicating online, go 
directly to
