Chapter 4

Configuring the Terminal

Configure Communication Properties

Follow these steps to configure driver settings for the communication
protocol used by your application.

Select Terminal Settings>Networks and Communications>RSLinx
Enterprise Communications.

You see a tree view of installed communication cards and
network configurations.

Select the communication card installed on your terminal.

Press the Edit Driver button to view the current properties for
the communication driver.

Select the property you want to modify, then press the Edit
button.

Modify the setting and then press the Enter button.

You return to the previous screen with the newly entered data.

Has no properties to edit.
