If your EtherNet/IP Status indicator is off, follow these steps.
1. Apply power to the controller.
2. Set the IP address.
If your EtherNet/IP Status indicator is flashing green, follow these steps.
1. Check the wiring to the controller.
2. Configure the originator to connect to the target.
If your EtherNet/IP Status indicator is flashing red, follow these steps.
1. Check external wiring.
2. Check the endpoints.
3. Check the switches.

The controller does not have an IP
address or is not turned on.

Green, flashing
The controller has no established
connections but has obtained an IP
address.
Green, on
The controller has at least one
established connection (even to the
message router).
No action required.
Red, flashing
One or more of the connections in
which this device is the target has
timed out. This shall be left only if all
timed out connections are
reestablished or if the device is reset.
Refer to the corrective action following this
table.
Red, on
The controller has detected that its IP
address is already in use.
Reset the IP address.
