WARNING:
Fuel is highly flammable and poiso nous.

CAUTION
Immediately wipe off spilled fuel with a
clean, dry, so� cloth, since fuel may
deteriorate painted surfaces or plas�c
parts.
4. Turn on the engine ( see “START THE
ENGINE” sec�on) and keep the engine
running un�l i t stops. This burns out the
fuel in the fuel tank. The engine stops in
approx. 20 minutes.

5. Remove the screws ① , and then
remove the access panel ② .

6. Drain the fuel from the carburetor by
loosening the drain screw on the
carburetor float chamber.

7. Turn the engine switch to “ STO P”.

8. Re�ghten the drain screw.
9. Reinstall the access panel and �ghten
the screws
10. Turn the fuel tank cap air vent knob
to “OFF” a�er the engine has
completely cools down.

11. Store the emp�ed gasoli ne in a
suitable place.
CAUTION: Do not store fuel for more
than 3 months.
SPARK PLUG INSPECTION
The spark plug is important for proper
engine opera�o n, which should be
checked periodically. A good spark plug
should be intact, free of deposits, and
properly gapped. Refer to Recommended
Maintenance Schedule in Fig51. To
