TOILET OPERATION TIPS:
For effective operation of the macerator waste pump and the black water system, be sure to use plenty of water
for flushing and do not flush disposable wipes or other non-biodegradable sanitary items down the toilet. The
macerator pump will process toilet paper and normal waste, but these other items can jam the pump, causing it
to overheat and possibly necessitating replacement of the pump. This type of failure is not covered by the
Roadtrek or Shurflo warranties. To keep the pump and waste valves lubricated, ShurFlo recommends running a
small amount of mineral oil through the system periodically. Please see the ShurFlo manual for more.
EXTRA COUNTER SPACE:
In order to provide additional counter space,
your motorhome has the following two features:
1. Tempered glass stove top cover.
2. Sink cover, (cutting board).
To raise the stove cover do the following:
1. The stove cover is fit so you just need to lift it.
The spring-loaded hinges hold it open,
(see Picture BP33, B-P34).
2. Raise the stove cover while cooking, when
finished cooking and the stove has cooled,
lower the stove cover.
CAUTION: Make sure the stove is off and has cooled
prior to lowering stove cover.
* Do not leave items in the sink when the vehicle is
stored. Condensation and accumulated moisture or
chemicals can damage the sink material.
