13. The SDM-E2 will perform a fresh air adjustment on the instrument.

If the air adjustment is successful, the SDM-E2 will continue as described
in step 14 below.

If one or more of the sensors fails the fresh air adjustment, the SDM-E2 will
abort the calibration and will not apply calibration gas. If this happens, the
CAL
LED will flash red indicating a failure and the following screen will
appear.
In this case continue with step 17.
14. The SDM-E2 will apply calibration gas to the instrument for the time defined by
the GAS TIME calibration parameter.
The “C” indicates calibration gas is being applied.
15. The SDM-E2 will then purge the system with fresh air for the time defined by
the AIR TIME calibration parameter. The calibration results will be displayed
