7.3 Important information on installation and putting into operation
•
This lifting column must not have additional drilled holes.
•
This lifting column must not be used for outside operation.
•
The lifting column must be protected against moisture penetration.
•
Each time before the lifting column is put into operation, you must protect the top and
bottom against entry.
•
When fixing bear in mind that the stand surfaces and contact surfaces must completely rest
on a metal surface that is at least 5 mm thick.
•
After setting up and putting into operation, it is essential that the mains plug of the external
controller is freely accessible.
•
You must not open the lifting column. Observe the safety information attached to the lifting
column.
•
The user must ensure that there is no danger when an external controller is connected.
•
It must not be possible for the lifting column to fall over in use due to lateral forces.
•
When designing tables, etc. take care to avoid crushing and shear points. These are to be
protected appropriately.
•
Possible failure of limit switches must be considered in the construction. The relevant stop
positions must be set up as required. Particularly in the case of tensile loads, an external
extension safeguard must be provided.
•
Automatic start-up of the column due to a fault is to be stopped immediately by pulling out
the mains plug.
•
If the supply line is damaged, the lifting column must be taken out of service immediately.
Overhead installation is prohibited!
Danger due to profile moving apart and falling with the load.
It is essential that you note and observe the following instructions. Otherwise, people
may be injured or the lifting column or other components may be damaged.
