FLOW CONTROL ADJUSTMENT
This adjustment to be performed by a qualified
technician only.
Refer to figure 8.
For adjustment, first unlock the outside locknut.
(Adjustments should be made in 1/4 turn increments)
• To decrease platform fall speed turn adjustment screw
clockwise.
• To increase platform fall speed turn adjustment screw
counterclockwise.
NOTE:
When making adjustments in extermely cold
temperatures (below freezing), run unit several times
to confirm that the velocity fuse doesn’t lock-up with
warmer oil.
Symptom
1. Lift table does not lift.
2. Lift table does not
maintain steady height.
3. Lift table locked in “UP”
position.
Probable Cause
a. Excessive load.
b. Fuse and/or overload blown.
c. Low oil level and/or oil leak.
d. Defective pump.
e. Defective Valve.
f. Filter is clogged.
a. Oil leak.
b. Defective check valve.
c. Defective solenoid valve.
a. Velocity fuse locked up due to air.
b. Velocity fuse locks up due to
valve adjustment.
(unit lowering to fast)
c. Bent safety stop bar.
d. Defective safety stop switch.
Remedy
a. Standard dock lift not to exceed
6000lbs., Rite-Up option not to exceed
2500lbs.
b. Check fuse and/or overload reset.
c. Check oil level. Check for leaks that
may have caused low oil level.
d. Check system pressure. If pressure is
to low may be a worn out pump.
Replace if necessary.
e. Check valve block. Repair/Replace if
necessary.
f. Clean or replace suction filter.
a. Repair oil leaks.
b. Replace check valve if necessary.
c. Replace solenoid valve if necessary.
a. Cycle unit (5 to 10 times) until velocity
fuse no longer locks up.
b. See Adjustments .
c. Replace bent safety stop bar.
d. Replace switch.
