INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - CONT.
SHIM AND MOUNTING INSTALLATION
1. Square dock lift in pit area with spaces equal on all
sides. See figure 4.
2. Shim dock lift level to the floor and weld shims to the
frame. See figure 4.
3. By pressing the UP button, raise dock lift about eight
to twelve inches, check down speed and adjust if
required. See
Adjustments .
4. Raise dock lift to working height and block dock lift at
roller end with base mounted maintenance strut. See
Safety Devices .

• ALWAYS ground to the frame or front pit angle
when welding. DO NOT ground welding
equipment to any electrical components. DO
NOT ground to lift platform when welding
on lift frame. Damage to bearings or electrical
components may result.
• DO NOT connect green ground lead into
control box or junction box until all welding is
complete.
