INSULATION RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT FOR 

VARIOUS EQUIPMENTS

 

Insulation  resistance  is  measured  while  manufacturing  various  equipments  like 

transformer, circuit breakers, cables etc. It should be noted that the negative measurement 
lead  should  not  be  connected  to  large  ground  conductors.  Following  are  the  connections 
schemes for insulation resistance measurement for different equipments:
