11.1 Battery charging process:
To charge the battery of the meter you have to insert the power cord provided with the
meter into the socket at the back of the meter.
Then connect the power cord into any nearby power socket. Please make sure that the
voltage supplied to the power cord is according to the specifications provided in the
manual or datasheet(230 V + 15% 50/60 Hz AC supply).
Then turn on the switch of the socket and the mains power LED will turn ON to indicate the
presence of mains.
Also the power cord symbol will appear on the task bar as shown below. Also the battery
charging symbol will appear.
If the meter battery has completely discharged it will take about 7 Hrs to charge the
battery. As soon as the battery gets charged the charging symbol will disappear in the
status bar as shown below.
Please note that even if the meter is turned off the battery will charge if power cord is
connected.
11.2 Battery alarms:
The battery pre-alarm indication appears when the battery level is approximately below
50% and it does not affect the measurement.
When the battery level is extremely low a message box is displayed with warning
“Battery low..! Test will not start.” and this means measurement is not possible.
