Adding some of the granules and the glass
This step is common to both models and both types of burn media. It requires
removing the upper burn media tray to access the mesh holding tray.
1. Remove the front two log locating pins, and loosen off the three black screws holding the
upper tray in position. There are lower slots in the tray allowing the tray to be lifted off,
leaving the screws in place.
2. Carefully empty the bag of glass into the mesh tray and level out.
3. From the granule pack, remove seven granules and embed them into the glass as shown.
The granules help diffuse the glow.
4. Put the upper tray back in place and re-tighten the screws. Put the log pins* (if installing the
log set) back in place.
* The log pins are not needed if you are installing the stone set
