Intake Cap to be removed and discarded
for twin pipe PVC/CPVC configuration.
Determining Vent Configuration (continued)
Removal of Intake Cap
1. Remove the fastener from intake connection.
2. Remove the intake cap.
Twin Pipe PVC/CPVC Configuration
(3”or 4”)
3. Install the intake pipe. Ensure it is properly
seated.
4. Secure the intake pipe to the unit with the
supplied screw (in the carton box).
5. Install the exhaust pipe. Ensure it is properly
seated.
6. Secure the exhaust pipe to the unit with the
supplied screw (in the carton box).
WARNING
DO NOT apply PVC glues, solvents, or cleaners
to the water heaters intake or exhaust gasket
connections. Failure to correctly assemble the
components according to these instructions
may result in property damage, personal injury,
or death.
