total number of points of the waveform currently edited. The range is from
8 to 16384 (namely 16k) and the default is 8. Users can select the numbers
of Sa points and set their voltages respectively.
In period editing mode, the total number of points of the waveform
currently edited is always 8192 (not affected by Sa). The number of points
(denoted by Sa) refers to the number of points for which users will specify
their voltages. The range is from 8 to 8192 (namely 8k) and the default is
8192. Users can select the numbers of the first Sa points and set their
voltages respectively. When the number of points (Sa) is less than 8192,
the system will set the voltages of the last (8192- Sa) points to the current
low level automatically.
In period editing mode, the period currently set is divided into 8191
(namely 8192-1) parts (namely 8192 points) with each point corresponding
to a data point (0s corresponds to the first point and the period set
corresponds to the 8192nd point).
Note:
When the number of points is modified, the original waveform data in the
volatile memory will be lost.

Data Source
Press Data Src to select “CH1 Arb”, “CH2 Arb” or “Volatile”. You can copy the
arbitrary waveform currently selected by CH1 or CH2 or the volatile waveform of
the other channel to the volatile memory of the currently selected channel and
edit them.

Insert Waveform
Insert the specified waveform at the specified position of the waveform edited
currently. Press this menu key to enter “Insert Waveform” interface.
Insert Position
Set the start position for inserting the waveform. Press this menu key and
input the desired value using the numeric keyboard or direction keys and
knob. The range is from 1 to Sa and Sa indicates current total points. For
example, if the insert position set is 7, the instrument will insert a waveform
from the seventh point.
Insert Way
Select the insert way between “Insert” and “Rewrite”.
In insert way, when inserting the selected waveform at the specified insert
position, the original waveform data will be moved behind the inserted
waveform.
In rewrite way, the inserted waveform will overwrite the original waveform
from the specified insert position.
