General warnings
9
This booklet, along with those for the
installer and the Technical Assistance
Centre, is an integral part of the boil-
er and must therefore be kept in a
safe place. They must always be
passed on with the boiler if this is
transferred to another owner/user or
to another system. If they are dam-
aged or lost, another copy must be
requested from your local
r
Tech-
nical Assistance Centre.
9
The installation of
the boiler should
be carried out by a
company that is in
compliance with
Min. Decree 37 of
2008, which at the
end of its work issues
the owner with the Dec-
laration of Conformity of a correct
installation, namely in compliance
with the applicable regulations and
the instructions provided by
r
in
the booklet for the installer provided
with the product.
9
The boiler must be used as envisaged
by
r
for which it was purposely
designed.
9
No liability will be accepted, within
or outside the contract, by
r
for
any harm to people/animals or dam-
age to property caused by incorrect
installation, adjustment or mainte-
nance, or by improper use.
9
In the event of a water leakage, shut
off the water supply and promptly
contact the
r
Technical Assistance
Centre or other professionally quali-
fi
ed personnel.
9
From time to time check that the op-
erating pressure of the hydraulic sys-
tem does not go below 1 bar. Other-
wise, contact the
r
Technical
Assistance Centre or professionally
quali
fi
ed personnel.
9
If the boiler is not used for a long
time, the following operations must
be carried out:
position the appliance mode se-
lector on "OFF”;
set the system's main switch to
"off";
turn off the fuel and water taps of
the heating and domestic hot wa-
ter system;
drain the heating and domestic
water system if there is any risk of
freezing.
9
The circulator anti-locking function
is activated after 24 hours of non-
use, with the function selector in any
position.
9
For the installation, you are advised
to contact specialised personnel.
9
The remote control must be installed
in the room most accessible to your-
selves to control the room tempera-
ture (generally the living room).
9
To allow for an easier reading of the
display, the control panel should be
positioned, as the regulations re-
quire, 1.5 meters above the ground.
9
The control panel is powered by low
voltage directly from the boiler.
9
The control panel must always be kept
away from heat sources or drafts:
these may affect the effectiveness of
the environment sensor readings in-
corporated in the panel itself.
9
Do not open the panel for any rea-
son: its operation does not require
any maintenance.
9
Do not apply pres-
sure on the glass
of the LCD display:
this may damage
the glass itself and
cause display prob-
lems.
