- Adjust the ambient thermostat to the required temperature (~
20°C) or, if the system is equipped with a timed thermostat, make
sure it is “active” and adjusted (~ 20°C).
- Press the key
and turn the encoder A to select the required
temperature.
- The large digits will light up on the display, indicating the selected
temperature value.
A
- Press the key
and turn the encoder to select the required tem-
perature. The large digits will light up on the display, indicating the
selected temperature value. After a few seconds, the display will
again show the outlet temperature actually measured by the boiler
probe.
A
- Press the
key to select the type of operation. Depending on
the type of operation chosen, the display will visualise just the do-
mestic water comet (heating function deactivated) or both comets
(heating function activated). The following conditions may occur:
- If there is no heat request, the boiler will go into standby,
- If there is a heat request, the boiler will start up and one of the
flames will light up according to the type of request. The display
indicates the temperature in the boiler, or the temperature of the
domestic hot water if the firing is due to a domestic water request.
The boiler will continue operating until the set temperatures are
reached, after which it will go into standby.
If there are any firing or operation faults, the boiler will make a “safety
stop”; the display will show a flashing code and the RESET and
icons will appear (simultaneously or otherwise).
For the description of the fault and to reset the starting conditions see
the section “Display and fault codes” and the relevant table.
After a “safety stop”, wait about 10 seconds before restoring
the start-up conditions.
D - Adjusting the heating temperature
To adjust the temperature of the outlet water, press the heating tem-
perature adjustment key
.
A
The two digits will no longer show the temperature measured instan-
taneously by the probe, but the temperature (flashing) previously set.
By rotating the encoder A, you can raise or lower the temperature.
When 3 seconds have passed since the last modification, the value is
automatically stored and the display again shows the value measured
instantaneously by the probe.
The set temperature is displayed both numerically (e.g.. 55° C) and as
illumination of the comet.
During the heating adjustment, when passing from the minimum value
to the maximum value you will meet the sector of the C.T.R. system:
Heating Temperature Control (from 55°C to 65°C).
The C.T.R. system independently manages the outlet temperature
adapting the operation to the actual needs of the home.
When the heat requirement is prolonged, the outlet temperature in-
creases allowing for a more rapid heating of the environment.
Once the required comfort level has been reached, the system brings
the outlet temperature back to the value set at the beginning.
This ensures lower consumption, less scale formation in the boiler, and
reduced temperature swings in the radiators.
E - Adjusting the heating temperature with
an external probe connected
If there is an external probe, the outlet temperature value is automati-
cally chosen by the system, which quickly adapts the ambient temper-
ature to any variations in the outdoor temperature.
The display shows the external probe icon, and only a central segment
is lit up in the heating comet.
If you want to modify the temperature value, increasing or reducing it
in relation to the value automatically calculated by the electronic card,
proceed as follows:
