BURNER CALIBRATION
FIRING
Set switch 1)(A) to “ON” and switch 2)(A) to “1st
stage”.
Once the following adjustments have been
made, the firing of the burner must generate a
noise similar to the noise generated during oper-
ation. If one or more pulsations or a delay in firing
in respect to the opening of the light oil solenoid
valve occur, see the suggestions provided on
page 39: causes 31 to 36.
OPERATION
Interventions on the following points:
Nozzle
See the information listed on page 7.
Pump pressure
In order to adjust 1st stage pressure, use the
screw 6)(B) page 10.
In order to adjust 2nd stage pressure, use the
screw 7)(B) page 10.
Some combinations may cause pulsation during
the 2nd stage under high pressure; in such an
event reduce the atomizing pressure or use a
nozzle with a full coned shaped spray and, if the
desired power is still not achieved, fit a larger
nozzle.
COMBUSTION HEAD
In order to adjust the combustion head, use the
screw 4)(D) page 8.
For final adjustment of the combustion head, per-
form fume analysis at the boiler outlet.
