AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Dealing with error AL41

Check the pressure on the control panel pressure gauge.
If it is below 0.5 bar, proceed as follows.

 - Turn the function selector to “

0

 - Remove the top front panel from the boiler by pulling it

forwards.

 - Slowly refill the system, opening the fill cock (2) until the

pressure gauge reads between 1 and 1.2 bar.

 - Fit the top panel back on the boiler.
 - Return the function selector to its previous position

(Summer "

}

", or Winter "

{

").

If the system loses pressure frequently, call Technical
Assistance.

Automatic temperature control only works with the out-
door temperature sensor connected. As soon as you
install the outdoor temperature sensor, connect it immedi-
ately to the relevant terminals in the boiler (see page 25).
The boiler will now be able to function with AUTOMATIC
TEMPERATURE CONTROL.

SELECTING THE TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION

CURVE

A number of central heating temperature compensa-
tion curves are available to maintain a theoretical room
temperature of 20°C for outdoor temperatures between
+20°C and -20°C. The choice of curve depends on the
projected minimum outdoor temperature (and therefore
on the geographic area where the boiler is installed)
and on the system’s CH flow temperature (and therefore
on the type of central heating system). The curve must
therefore be carefully selected by the installer using the
following formula:

KT = System CH flow temp. - Tshift

        20 - Min projected outdoor temp.

Tshift = 30°C standard systems

25°C under-floor systems

If calculations give a value between two curves, choose
the curve nearest to the calculated value.
