Slide 66

Replacing the BICU – 1

Print out the SMC first.

When you replace the BICU, remove the two
EEPROMs from the old BICU and install them on
the new one.

Make sure the EEPROM units are oriented
correctly.

The notches must be oriented as shown in the
illustrations on the next slide.

Enter the S/N with SP5811-4.

Do not change the DIP switches.

Refer to the FSM for the detailed BICU
replacement procedure.
