Daily Care and Maintenance
This chapter describes how to care and maintain the machine.
About the Frequency of Maintenance
•
Some parts of this machine must be replaced with a new one periodically by
service personnel. Be sure to make a contract with your distributor or dealer
for after sale service to ensure a long life of your machine.
•
If the machine's interior is not cleaned regularly, dust will accumulate. Fire and
breakdown can result from heavy accumulation of dust inside this machine. Contact
your sales or service representative for details about and charges for cleaning the
machine's interior.
•
When cleaning the ink-station or the heads, or replacing the cleaning
cartridge, make sure to wear the attached goggles.
•
When performing maintenance on the machine, make sure to wear the attached gloves.
•
Please use protective equipment in order to avoid exposure to liquid.
•
The supplied gloves are consumables. If they are damaged or lost, use
polythene gloves instead.
Perform maintenance regularly in order to use the machine at its best possible condition. Make
sure to keep the nozzle parts of the print heads that discharge ink in good condition as they may
affect the printing results due to the adherence of particles or dust.
