Lamp Error
Symptom:
The white level cannot be adjusted.
Possible Cause:
•
A mirror is out of position.
•
Misalignment
•
Defective SBU
•
Defective IOB
•
Defective SCU
Procedure:
Does the exposure lamp light during scanning?
Yes
No
Does 24 volts come to the lamp stabilizer?
Yes
No
Is the cable damaged?
Yes
No
Replace the PSU.
Replace the cable.
Replace the exposure lamp
Does the exposure lamp light?
Yes
No
Replace the lamp stabilizer.
Go to the next step.
Are all mirrors installed properly?
Yes
No
Reseat any mirrors that are out of place.
Does the SBU generate the correct signals?
Yes
No
Replace the SBU.
Replace the SCU. If that does not work, try changing the IOB.
