9. Connecting the Printer to a PC

Before connecting the printer to a PC

Before connecting the printer to the PC, check to make sure that the power
to the printer main unit is switched off.

Connect the printer to a Windows® PC.

9.1 Setting the USB

(a) Connect a USB cable to the USB interface connecter on the rear panel of the printer.

(b) Connect a USB cable to the Windows® PC.

Next, install the printer driver. The driver installation procedure varies depending on your
PC’s OS.
