4.4 Create a Capture Definition
It is possible to create new profiles in accordance with individual processing requirements.

Use the following steps to create a capture definition.
1. Assign a name to the capture definition.
2. Check or uncheck the
LowResCamera
Capture setting as necessary for individual processing requirements.
3. Check or uncheck the
Markings
setting as necessary for individual processing requirements.
4. Click
Save
.
Parameter Description
Definition Name Enter a name to assign to this definition.
Low Res Camera
Capture If checked, the iDimension 100 will create a low resolution camera image. ResX and ResY are,
respectively, the desired width and height of such image, in pixels. For example, 640x480.
Markings If checked, the iDimension 100 will mark the low resolution image with the selected information:
Date and Time — The date and time stamp of the scan.
ScanID — The unique scan ID number.
Dimensions — The three dimensions (height, width, depth) of the item.
Indicators — Any indicators such as undersized, oversized, etc.
Item Outline — The 2D outline of the dimensioned item.
