4.10 Battery Life
Select either Standard (

) or Long (

) battery life.
In Long battery life mode, the system is placed into a sleep state for several seconds at a time if there is no change in weight.
This disables the display in order to reduce power consumption and increase battery life. After several seconds, the MSI-3460
will wake up to check for any changes in weight. If there is a change in weight, the unit will stay awake. The unit will also stay
awake if it is in configuration mode.
Although long
battery life mode can significantly increase battery life, performance of the scale is better in standard battery life
mode.
