4.4- Switch On/Off
Switch On
•
Hold the machine with both hands on the main and side handles.
•
Slide the power switch (5) forward with thumb until it snaps into place, then the machine
starts.
Switch Off
•
Press the power switch (5) at the rear of the switch, then the switch moves backward and the
machine stops.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
This power tool is intended for polishing operations, included:
•
Polishing and smoothing before painting,
•
Finishing surfaces
5.2- Operation
Before start
•
Make sure the side handle, backing pad and polishing pad are installed securely, according
to this instruction manual.
•
The diameter and thickness of the polishing pad must be within the capacity rating of the
tool. Accessories of incompatible size results in inadequate control.
•
Make sure the spindle lock button (5) is well released by testing the button for several times.
•
Adjust the handle position, if necessary.
Polishing operation
•
Hold the machine with both hands in a safe position, then switch on the machine without
loading for 30 seconds.
•
Stop the machine immediately in case of abnormal vibration or noise.
•
Always use the main and side handles for proper control.
•
Move the machine back and forth in long, sweeping and continuous strokes.
5.3- Tips
•
Too much presure, wrong polishing angle or improper motion may cause swirl marks or
burning.
•
To prevent burning, do not allow the polishing pad staying in a spot, even a short period.
•
To prevent snagging, avoid using the machine in the area close to the surface edge.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the “OFF” position
and remove the battery pack.
