3.1- General safety warnings
•
Understand the product. Read and follow the instructions in this manual.
•
Do not disassemble or modify the product.
•
Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled or if any parts appear to be missing
or damaged.
•
Use and store indoor dry environment.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use near water or any liquid.
•
Do not touch with wet hands.
•
Do not allow children to operate this product. It is not a toy.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
•
When the product is not in use or before performing cleaning, turn it off and remove the
battery pack.
•
Use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
•
Do not use in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dusts.
•
Never leave the product running unattended. Operate the tool only when hand-held.
•
Perform service maintenance by qualified personnel only.
3.2- Additional safety rules for electric polisher
•
To reduce risk of injury, keep children and bystanders away while operating this power tool.
•
Do not use the tool on any materials containing asbestos.
•
Make sure that there is no crack or breakage on the pad before use. Cracks or breakage may
cause a personal injury or property damage.
•
Do not touch the bolt on the backing pad immediately after operation. It may be extremely
hot and could burn your skin.
•
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
•
Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
•
Keep hair, loose clothing, finger and any parts of body away from openings or moving parts.
•
Do not expose the tool to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase
the risk of electric shock.
•
Maintain labels and rating plate through the life of service.
•
Before cleaning or changing accessories, turn it off and remove the battery pack.
•
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn on and off. Any power tool that cannot
be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
•
Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
•
Store idle power tool out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with
the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
3.3- Special warnings when using this product
•
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear safety goggles, dust mask, earmuffs,
non-skid safety shoes and safety gloves when using the tool.
•
This product is designed to be powered Ribimex 20V Li-ion battery packs only.
•
Use with specifically designated Li-ion battery packs (not included). Use of other batteries
